A Camping We Will Go!!!

OK, so the newest funnest thing we have done as a family is camping. We now have a camping trailer that we keep at a nice campground 30 minutes from our house. The campsite has a pool, with a kiddie pool and a water mushroom, a playground and lots of fishing. It is right on the lake. We have been several times and have had so much fun. The boys love riding Big Wheels, fishing and collecting caterpillars. Anna Katherine is good as usual and crawls around on the outdoor carpet. Of course we have to have Jiffy Pop popcorn on the gas stove and roast marshmellows. We plan on going lots this summer and want to invite anyone to come and join us, if not all weekend then for a day.

Mason and I caught his first fish. Mason really only enjoys playing with the worms. He loves to dig them out of the tub and find a long and short one. He names them. Mostly he names them all "Sollie" that seems to be the only name he wants to use.

Miles is quite the fisherman. Of course Tom is elated because Tom could fish all day, although fishing with the boys is not quite the same as fishing alone. Every time he turns around he has to re bait a hook or get all the worms back into the tub. Miles fishes all by himself. He cast and reeled in this fish all by himself.

Mason is trying to stop napping and if he naps he stays up till 9 or 10, if he does not nap he goes to bed at 7, which is my preference. This camping night he napped so at 9:15 I found him straddling Miles head, and did I mention Miles was asleep. So I got him up and let him sit with us for a while. He got to roast a marshmallow and love on mom and dad. I have to admit that was the highlight of my camping trip.
