The Denton's all go the the beach every other year and this time we went back to Isle of Palms and stayed in our favorite house. Jim and Cheryl took a much deserved kid free cruise, and the girls came with us.

A group of some of the kids after decorating foam visors. This was a brief moment when the kids were out of the pool. Most all of the kids swam almost all day. I would put food next to the pool for Miles and make him get out to eat and reapply sunscreen. Miles had so much fun playing in the pool with his cousins.

Anna and Cole what a pair they are. They played well together. They would play chase with each other crawling around the house. I was hopeful that Anna would see him walking and want to do the same, but no luck.
Tom and Pete took the kids to see the USS Yorktown. The kids really enjoyed seeing the very large American Flag, and the big ship.

Look how enourmous that Flag is. That is Mason sitting in front of it.
The rest of the week was filled with lots of fun things. The adults went out to dinner and thanks to the older cousins we went kid free. We took family pictures on the beach, built the "Titanic" out of sand, went crabbing, ate ice cream at Carvel, celbrated Anna's first birthday and Becca's 11th, shopping around town and at the Charleston market. And most of all we enjoyed each others company and watching the kids play in the pool. My boys thought this was the best thing in the world, spending a week with cousins and favorite playmates. We can't wait to go again in 2 years.
