Marvelous Miles!!!

Let me just tell you how wonderful Miles is. I really want to take a minute and brag on him. He has had a wonderful year at school. He has not gotten in trouble once and excelled in academics. I am just so proud of him. Most every time I was in the school people were telling me how polite and kind he is. The main thing I learned about Miles this year is that he is extremely loyal to the people he picks to be his people. He picked a wonderful little boy Grant to be his BFF and I could not be happier with his selection. Our families are becoming fast friends. His next favorite person is Austin. Austin is a Down Syndrome boy in his class. Miles has been so wonderful to Austin. He talks about him a lot and really looks out for him at school. He helps him make good choices, plays with him, and makes sure everyone is being nice to him. It makes me so proud of him that when I am in the school people are talking about how good he is to Austin. He is know for his sincere friendship with Austin. He has been wanting to have Austin over to play so last Thursday after there end of year party we loaded up and came home. The boys had so much fun and we can't wait to do it again. I am so proud of my big boy who is maturing into such a thoughtful polite kid.
Here are some pictures from the party!!!

Some other things about Miles. Miles is addicted to T.V. he loves it. He can watch it all day if I let him. He is a lot like me. He sees the world as black and white. He loves passionately but not affectionately. I think he has kissed me on Mother's Day this year and last year as part of my present. Don't let that coldness fool you, Miles can be huggy when he wants to be. He will not go to sleep if I am hear until I hug him and pull his covers up for him....even if dad does it he will wait with eyes glued on the door for me to say the final good night. Miles loves school and loves to learn. He is a thinker and is constantly asking me what we are going to do next. He is not a good sharer with his brother but can't stand to be away from him. He adores Anna. He is amazing with her, plays with her and helps her all the time. He is getting better at baseball every season and really enjoys it. He is a picky eater and his favorite food is cereal of any kind. He is polite and most always well behaved. He is a great swimmer and can't wait to join a swim team next summer. He is a wonderful worker and helper. I can give him a task and he will complete it without a lot of complaining. For the most part Miles is an easy kid. I guess all the hard times and firm discipline are finally paying off. Don't be fooled Miles has some not nice qualities. He can be very selfish and is mean to Mason and struggles with sharing. He is also very strong willed which causes conflict at times. I will admit a lot less now.I Love him so much!
