After we waited all day for the snow it started snowing around 4 o’clock. Of course the boys were outside as soon as it started sticking. They enjoyed a snowball fight against dad when he got home. The next morning all of our snow was covered with ice since it rained while we were sleeping. That of course did not stop us. We all went out and played. We had a blast sledding in our yard. The whole day was outside for about 30 minutes then in for an hour or so then back out. The boys really had a blast. I am amazed because there is still snow on our deck 1 week later.
Miles could have sled all day!
YUMMY YUMMY SNOW!
Mason was scared to sled. He liked it once he tried it.
Even Daddy and mommy went sledding. Of course no pictures of me.
Look at Mason’s face. He was loving it.
Here is BOB our very tiny snowman. The snow was ice covered so making a big snowman was impossible. Bob is now living in the freezer in my garage because Mason could not watch him melt.
Mentos in a coke bottle. It was supposed to be a 25 ft geyser but it did not work well. Guess name brand Coke is a must. Anyway it was fun to turn the snow brown.

I've done that experiment with my kiddos before. I think it's actually name brand Diet Coke. And it's AWESOME when it works right!
