A couple weeks ago the boys attended day camps. Miles went to Basketball camp and Mason went to Horse camp. They each had a blast and learned a lot. Miles learned lots of basketball fundamentals but also learned that baseball is his sport not basketball.
Mason really loved his camp. It was on a small farm in Hardin Valley. There were 8 horses and 8 puppies. They feed the horses, and cleaned them. They walked puppies and played with them. They got to ride horsed and do an art craft every day. On the second day Mason was riding his horse “Solo” and “Cocoa” the other female got close to Solo and kicked her so Mason fell off the horse. He got some road rash and lots of fear. The rest of the week he was more timid than I expected him to be. Mason learned that he is not as crazy about horses as he thought he was. Next year Mason wants to go to zoo camp.
