It really is hard for me to believe that my first born is 8 years old. It is amazing how much of you changes and continues to change when you become a mom. WOW
Miles is just such a precious soul. He is a great friend to all and leader in his classroom. He is exceptionally kind and helpful to the kids who need his help ( Down syndrome, sad or jus slow). He amazes me that he sees needs for these people and does it with the kindest heart you will ever meet.
Miles is 55 pounds and very tall. I do not know the official height but I will tell you he is up to my collarbone. I am guessing he will be taller than me. He has always been taller and heavier than my other 2. He got braces on his top 4 teeth this summer. We are hoping it will move the top teeth closer together and move back teeth to make room for his very large permanent teeth. We are hopeful he will not have to have teeth pulled.
Miles enjoys swimming, diving, basketball and softball. Out of all of those baseball is his favorite. He started playing tournament ball this summer and enjoys it. He is becoming quit the ball player. He will start cub scouts as soon as baseball is over and he could not be more excited about it. He enjoys school. Math is his favorite and best subject with grammar and spelling the most challenging. He loves to read when he finds a book he really enjoys.
Miles is a hard worker. He is not very affectionate but when he feels like hugging watch out he will bear hug you. He will wait for me to tuck him in every night. He loves daddy but says mommy is the best tucker in. It makes my heart happy. He is a wonderful little guy that I know will become a wonderful man. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for him.
