Anna is 5

I really can’t believe that my baby girl is 5 years old. Time really does fly when you are having fun. It is really hard for me but I no longer have or every will have a preschooler again. How can that be. Anna will go to Kindergarten at West End a private school then will more than likely repeat Kindergarten in public school the following year. I feel pretty confident I will hold her back. She is academically ready and socially but emotionally she is so fragile.

Oh my baby girl. I dreamed and prayed for her and she is everything and more than I could imagine. Her sweet nature melts hearts wherever she is. She is always so obedient. Not only is she sweet but stubborn. She is a super picky eater and has sat at the table for over an hour cause she has to eat one bite of  chicken.  Once she eats the chicken she says that is yummy can I eat another bite. Its maddening.

She is all girl, she loves playing with Barbies and Polly pockets. She can play for hours all by herself. She can recognize and say the sound for every letter in alphabet. She can also write anything she wants to write if I help her with spelling. 

She is so fearful of new things, places or anything she is uncomfortable with. She is so patient. She watches the boys play hours of baseball and never complains. She loves dance and gymnastics. She loves to shop. We shop for hours.

She is becoming very sassy and testing the waters with attitude. 

She tells me even though she is a big girl now she will always be my baby girl and that is so true. She is such blessing to me and I can’t wait to see what wonderful things God has in store for her.
