We had a wonderful Spring Break trip as a family. We went to Charleston, SC in a camper and in spite of the cold weather we had fun.
WE went to the aquarium one day because it was so cold. It was a cool thing to do.
Petting sting rays.
Holding sea Urchins
Climbing trees
The next day we went to tour a plantation. It was so fun but sooooo cold.
Heavy coats in Scout Carolina the last week of March. No fun.
The Plantation we toured had over 100 acres of land that was used for rice farming but is not full of wildlife so we bundled up and went on a little train ride to see the wildlife. We froze. The boys were laughing at me saying I look like Jace from Duck Dynasty with a hat on. After the tour we went to the car to warm up then at lunch in the lawn of the Plantation home. We toured the house which was very interesting then went to the petting zoo.
How cool is this peacock?
Yes it was that cold. Sweatshirt and north face. Mason was taking pictures with his mini.
We ended our trip with a visit to Downtown Charleston. We shopped the market and took a horse buggy tour around downtown. It was warmer that day. We also enjoyed lots of family time playing games and sitting by the camp fire.
