2007!! What A Year!

As I look back through all the pictures of 2007 the first thing that comes to my mind is WOW! Tom and I are so blessed to have all that we have, healthy kids, financial security, loving family, great preschool and great friends. My kids are changing so much every day. My new years resolution, one of many, is to become a sponge and enjoy all parts of my kids, good, bad and ugly. It is all going so fast. I'm scared to blink I might miss something.
Now enough of the mushy stuff to the fun recap of our year.

The New year always starts off slow and dreary looking forward to the sunny East Tn spring. Tom on the other hand got to go to Costa Rico and fish with some friends in February. Spring we watched Miles suit up and play Baseball. He played spring and fall ball and really enjoys it. I hope he continues to play for years. The highlight of our spring and summer was camping in our camper trailer. We camped at least once a month for about 6 months. Sounds crazy right; but it was fabulous. Between fishing, swimming, bike riding, roasting marsh mellows, going on nature walks, playing games we had some much needed family time. Mason turned 3 with a Superman party. Mason is so wonderful with his vivacious spirit. Summer was filled with crazy fun. Between camping we went to the beach with my family and Tom's, the trips could not have been better. We visited the neighborhood pool several times a week and by the end of the summer both boys were swimming independently. Tom and I took 2 Kid Free trips. One in August to Cozymel, Mexico and the second to Cape Cod, MA. It was great to get away without kids. Miles turned 5 in August with a Batman themed pool party. He is growing into a helpful polite little guy. He has lost 4 teeth and is rigid in his schedule and habits....wonder were he gets that...HA. We decided to keep Miles in preschool for another year to get good and ready for Kindergarten. Mom is hoping she will be ready by then (time really does fly by). The boys started preschool at Farragut Church of Christ. They love it and I enjoy my time with my sweet baby girl. Wow she has really changed. Not only does she look completely different now she is full of personality. I kid (serious) that she runs this house. She aggravates-plays with the boys and is very expressive about her wishes and desires. She loves her blanket (bubba) is a very picky eater, is a mommas girl (Hold You, Hold You is heard a lot) and is talking up a storm. And did I mention throwing fits...yes that just started. She truly melts my heart, SPOILED Yes beyond doubt! Halloween, the boys were Batman and Anna a dog with a tutu. Christmas was wonderful this year. The boys really looked forward to it and remember some of the traditions we have started. Anna got girl toys, dollhouse, vanity, and of course a baby. She must sleep with her every night. The boys are now gamers...with gameboys and leapsters. It is always so magical to see kids on Christmas morning!

I hope you all enjoy 2008 as much as I enjoyed 2007. I can't wait!
