Today Mason and Anna (yes my sweet baby girl) started Preschool at Farragut Church of Christ Preschool. Mason is in the Pre-K (Kindergarten next year) class with Ms. Elisabeth (Miles' teacher last year). He has been looking forward to school all summer. That is a huge improvement since last year. He said he had lots of fun today. I just asked him when I was putting him to bed if he would stay home with me and not go to school anymore because I missed him so much and he said "NO". Last year he would have jumped at the chance to miss school and stay home with me. WoW, they are all growing up so fast.

Anna really did GREAT today, so did mom. We talked a lot about it and she was so excited to get to take her lunchbox. We had to pack a banana....which I was told that she did not eat one bite of. She walked right into the classroom and went to play, carrying Ariel of course. I told her to look at me and before she looked up she said "Bye Mom see you later". She had a fabulous day. She got a little upset when they tried to get her hand print so they did not make her....maybe another day. She took a 50 minute nap and ate a good lunch. Her teacher Ms Michelle told me that at snack she looked up and told her "this not macaroni". She obviously feels comfortable enough to talk to them. She speaks very well I was informed. Every time I mentioned school this afternoon she smiled big. I think she is looking forward to going again. I will admit I missed her terribly and could not wait to hold her. I know I usually am tired of holding her. I am very proud of her. Miss Independent is on her way! Watch out!

I CANNOT believe that Anna is in preschool this year! Are MY kids that old too? They can't possibly be that old! Oh, well! Has anyone ever told you how beautiful your kids are? HA! I know they have! They are SO beautiful!
