KINDERGARTEN!

Today was Miles' first day of Kindergarten and we both survived! I have been very tearful for a couple of days and Miles has been counting down the days. He jumped out of bed this morning and was happy to take pictures.

He has a fabulous teacher Mrs. Hughes and a little girl from preschool is in his class. He had a great time today and can't wait to go back. His teacher said that he was fabulous and that she loved him. (Her exact words)

We all knew that Miles would do great but how about me! Well I think the anticipation was worse than the actual event. I cried while driving him to school this morning and cried pretty hard had when I hugged him, but by the time I got out the door I had gained control. I feel that this is a Major MILESTONE for Miles and myself (5 days and none of them with mom) This is the beginning of having BIG KIDS! We are moving to a new chapter in our lives and I am bitter sweetly looking forward to it.
