A couple of weekends ago we went to Hardin Valley's Family Retreat. We were privileged to hear Paul Faulkner speak. He was fabulous. He talked about parenting, marriages and transition times in your life. It was great to hear some reassuring words about dealing with Transition times.
The boys had so much fun playing with friends all weekend. I never saw Miles, he was off playing all weekend. Mason really played well with others which is comforting because last year he was not so social. They are growing up.
The retreat was at the 4-H camp in Greeneville, TN. It is so beautiful up there. The mountains will take your breath away. The camp had a dinosaur bone exhibit and the boys loved that. We also decorated a pumpkin together as a family.....it is hard to see but our pumpkin has a bow on it.
The hit of the weekend was the "Pogo Stick". Everyone tried it, even Tom. It is now on our Christmas list. Does anyone know where I can get one?
Here are some pictures of us trying the pogo stick....it is easier than it looks.

Looks like you had a great time! I hate that we missed it, but we were pretty busy!!
The pogo sticks came from Toys-R-Us and have definitely been a hit in our family - 5 of the 7 grandchildren got them last year for Christmas. If only Matthew could have been hopping on his pogo stick instead of riding someone else's scooter without a helmet! We're glad your family was at the retreat!
