Well, just ask Mason. Last night we were going to Hobby Town then to get ice cream. We were almost there and Mason started crying and I asked him what was wrong as he was sticking his finger up his nose, he said I put a jelly bean up my nose. I got angry then a little panicky. He started screaming and gagging due to the pressure of it in his sinuses. I kept wiping his nose and he would scream.....it hurt when touched. Oh did I mention the jelly bean was red and the red sugary coating on the outside of the bean kept running out. We decided to got to Baptist West ER. As we were sitting down to register he started sneezing and on the third sneeze I caught the jellybean. SO if you ever wonder what happens to a jellybean when it is in your nose, the sugar coating dissolves then the smaller sized bean comes out. He is fine today except for a sore nose. Tom & I find it very funny although he does not. We did get ice cream after the bean came out and he put his cup full of ice cream on his nose to help it stop hurting.
Happy Easter Mason!

Oh my goodness. Shew the things kids do in the backseat!! When my sister was about 5 we were going Christmas shopping. As we were approaching the mall she asked my mother what she should do with "all this hair" my mother said what hair, only to look back and see that she had cut her hair with her barbie scissors. It was horrible. Thankfully my mother is a hair stylist! Poor Mason!
always an adventure with the Dentons! Did you get ice cream anyway or just call it a night?!?!
Oh my goodness little Mason...you crack me up. I'm glad he sneezed it out and super glad that you still got ice cream...priorities you know.
Mason, Mason! Sweet Mason!
My niece did the same thing recently with a candy heart. It eventually melted enough to sneeze out too. I'm so glad it wasn't any worse!
