Fun Fall Break!

So last week for Fall Break we went to see my sister Becca who we call Boo and her new husband Billy. They live in a really small town close to the Military Base in GA. We started our trip in a hotel in Atlanta. This was our first hotel experience and the kids loved it. They swam, read the elevator & jumped on the beds. We then headed to Nashville Georgia. Our first stop was to The Military Base to see the helicopters. Billy is in the Air Force. He is an electrical Mechanic. The Military base is so cool and we learned so much. We also got to see one take off.

Billy teaching us all about the helicopter. He is so smart and we learned so much.

Becca has been telling me about the frogs that live in her yard at night and I really thought she was exaggerating. But I saw for myself there are tons. On her front windows and porch these little tree frogs hang on the window. But the back yard is covered in medium sized toads. SO the boys went hunting for frogs. Mason really did not want to touch them but Miles just picked them up. They wore Uncle Billy's headlights and loved them.

Yes Miles is holding 2 toads.

The next day we were going to a pumpkin patch but because we are so much in love with rain it followed us there. Seriously it has not rained there the whole time Becca has been living there (2.5 months) but because we were there it rained all day. So we went to a roller skating rink with games and indoor playground equipment. The place was so gross, I would not let the kids play on the playground which had 3 ball pits (GROSS!!!) So we roller skated and as I expected Mason did great and Miles pouted the whole time. Anna did pretty good for her age.

Next up was Bowling and we all loved that. Then we carved pumpkins or should I say the boys carved pumpkins with the guys. I helped Anna.

Anna decided that she was going to be a Moose that day and so was Uncle Billy. They would say Moose and put hands on ears with each other all day and just laugh. Too cute.

We had a wonderful time. I really loved getting to know Billy over Dominoes and my new favorite card game "golf" and loved my time with my baby sister who is so grown up. We can't wait to go back.
