The church family retreat is something that we all just can't wait for. I mean seriously it is like 2.5 days of constant playtime with your best buddies. This goes for adults and kids. This year was the best for us. I am sure it is because the kids are getting older and easier. We got there Friday night and the kids played in the rain and stayed up really late, so did parents. I played dominoes and Tom jammed with the musicians. Saturday was just fun all day. Miles and Tom played softball and Mason rode scooters and played all day. OH yeah we decorated pumpkins. Anna and myself decorated one and Mason and I did one and Tom and Miles with help from Aunt Mannie created a great pumpkin that won 2ND place. WOW and the biggest news of all is that Miles performed in the talent show. He acted out a cute song about a Boa Constrictor eating you and they used sleeping bags as the snake. It was really cute. I will try to get video off Tom's iPhone. It is always so uplifting to spend the weekend with your church family. We are already thinking of Talent show ideas for next year.
