That picture is so “Mason”. He lights up a room with that smile. He can make anyone feel better any time. He is funny and just LOVES life. He is a remarkable little boy.
And that remarkable young boy is 8 years old. He is so smart but math is not his favorite. He likes to read and his handwriting is most of the time illegible. He is constantly thinking and can think very abstract and advanced processing for his age. Most of the time you have no idea about his smarts because he tends to be lazy and not driven. He is passionate about things that are important to him so I know once we find what his gift is he will be unstoppable.
He has the kindest heart of any child I know. He is passionate about his love for the Lord and always volunteers to lead public prayer. He sat through Anna’s 3 hour dance recital for her 2 dances and did not complain once and wanted to give her flowers and was the first to tell her she did a great job. At her first swim meet last night he was at the finish line both races cheering for her. He always cheers for Miles when he is up to bat. Mason is just so loving. He shows his love to his daddy by physical touch like punches.
Mason is enjoying swimming and recently started piano lessons. He is such a gift to me. I describe Mason all kids of ways, he is forgetful, does not care what others think of him, laid back, funny, affectionate, but the best description for Mason is just pure JOY! He loves life and makes sure all of us around him do too. What a blessing to me he is.
