I can not believe my first born is 7. I can remember his birth like it was yesterday. I remember all the details; like the look on Tom's face when Miles was born, what everyone was wearing and most of all I remember the earth stopped. Just for a moment but my life is forever changed in that moment, I became a mother.
Miles is such a delightful child. He is your typical first born. He needs rules and believes wholeheartedly that they must never be broken. He is a picky eater and cereal is his favorite food. He loves his Curious George (a gift for his third birthday), and sleeps with him every night. He loves to swim and dreams of swimming in the Olympics one day. He enjoys being outside and likes camping and fishing. He enjoys playing baseball and basketball. He has great handwriting and is reading well; although he does not enjoy it. He loves riding the bus to and from school and enjoys time with friends. He aggravates his siblings but is good to them and would always defend them. He is very close to Anna, he takes care of her and treats her like a princess when he is not aggravating her. Miles is not affectionate but love passionately. Don't expect him to show love but know it is there and deeply within. His favorite color is green and he loves chocolate.He wants to work at the Junk Yard with Tom when he grows up and he is addicted to T.V. He is so polite and kind to others.
Miles is such a blessing and has enriched my life more than I could have ever imagined. I Love him so!
Every year on the boys actual birth day I take a picture of them in Tom's shirt (the same shirt). Enjoy the look back over the last 7 years. His age is above each picture.

i am absolutley BALLING right now! he is amazing! i will never forget that heart beat i heard (my first) the goo in his eyes...and most of all how my heart melted and still melts for that boy! he is sooo special and made brodies year today with his bachiball! i hope one day brodie will grow to be 1/2 the man miles is and will be one day! loved all the pics too! gone by wayyy too fast!!!

Thanks, thanks for the emotions! I can not believe how much he has changed, I totally hadn't noticed. I can't wait to see him soon.
Wow! Nothing makes the growth of a child more obvious than a string of birthday pictures! Do you cry every time you look at them? I did a similar thing with my kiddos in their birthday slideshow this year and I tear up every time I watch it! They grow up SO FAST! Happy belated birthday, Miles!
