Mason's First Day of Kindergarten!

Well everyone says it gets easier after you send the first to Kindergarten, but I beg to differ. It was just as hard on me this morning as it was just last year. I just want to know where time is going and if I can slow it down.
Mason has a wonderful teacher and he had a great day. He can't wait to go back. One of his good preschool buddies is in his class but he won't see him till he starts full time the end of the month.
He is so different from Miles and the school experience is another proof of this. He talked to me about his day the whole way back to preschool (my room is almost ready).
Here is the post on Miles and Kindergarten last year.

Mason & Skippy!

Outside of school!
The Denton men! In order

Now I will leave you with a poem that really sums it up for me. Growing up and letting go is so hard for me!

Kindergarten Wonder

I Wonder what you are doing right now and if anyone is treating you kind.

I hope there is a special person, a nice friend that you can find.

I wonder if the teacher know just how special you are to me.

And if the brightness of your heart is something she can see.

I wonder if you are thining of me and need a hug.

I already miss the sound of your voice.

I wonder if you can possible understand how hard it is for me to let you grow.

On this day, know that my heart breaks, for this is the first step in letting my baby go!
