We have added a new family member to our already crazy house. His is Skippy Jon Jones (Skippy for short) and he is a tiny 12 week old kitten. His name comes from a series of children's books about a Siamese cat who dreams of being a chihuahua and the fabulous stories he imagines. If you have not read them get a hold of one they are wonderful. The kids and I have wanted a kitten for months and Tom has been saying no and he finally got sick of all the begging and let us get one. It is our intentions that Skippy live outside when is bigger, but for now we are loving him. He loves the kids enjoyes playing with him. The boys carry him around like a rag doll and torment him and he never hisses. He has seen the dogs twice and hissed both times and even hisses at stuffed dogs, so we are waiting a couple more days for everyone to have free rane of the house.
