Baseball

I have lost track of how many seasons of baseball  Miles has played but I know that he really loves it this season. He is obsessed about it. He is watching it on T.V. and begging to go to the batting cages every day. We were there 4 times last week. He is determined to hit a home run over the fence this year. He is getting a lot better playing defense. He loves to play 3rd base and gets people out. He is also doing a great job playing right field. He has a great arm with accuracy and is getting  people out at 2nd. His team is  young, so he is the oldest and is really enjoying that. He is one of the better players and that is doing wonderful for his self-esteem. I love baseball and love, love watching my boys play.

He got a new “Big”Barrell Bat last week , who knew bats were so expensive, and he hits really good with it. The first game he played with his bat was his best game ever. He got 2 outs on 3rd base, 3 outs in outfield, and 2 great hits. all the way to the fence. He got the game ball that game.
