My baby sister had her baby Friday March 11th. He is just wonderful. I am so in love with him. He was a big boy at 9 1/2 pounds and 21 1/2 inches long. Everyone is smitten by him.
I was able to be there for his birth, outside the room of course and it was such an amazing experience to be there when my sis became a mom. Coming home was hard so we quickly planned another trip this time with the kids. 2 weeks later the kids got to meet sweet John Pierce.
Miles would have held him all day.
Isn’t that just the cutest face. I just love him so much.
And of course not trip to see Aunt Boo would be complete if we did not go on base. The boys just love all the helicopters and airplanes.
We had a wonderful time. We all miss them a lot and hated to leave. We will see him again at Easter and we are counting the days.
