Can I tell how excited Miles was to be given his time to shine as a pitcher (his dream). AND shine he did. The league he plays in the coaches pitch 3 innings then a kid pitches the last inning. Kid pitching is usually slow. Since they are young and learning to pitch lots of kids walk since balls are thrown too high, some get hit with a wild pitch and take a base, and some get hits and some strike out. But generally it is slow going. When Miles pitched it was not slow at least not for me. Other might say it was slow and I know I am the mom so I am biased but he did really good. Other think so too, not just me.
He had 6 batters up. The first one he walked, the 2nd batter walked, the 3rd one hit the ball, 4th Miles threw 3 strikes in a row for an out, 5th guy hit the ball and the 6th Miles struck him out too! Which ended the game. Here is video of the last batter to end the game. I just love his expression of success at end of video.
