In January I received notification that Miles was going to be receiving an award at school. I found out that 1 student each quarter get an admiral spirit award or a good citizen award. Since I am new to the school I asked the teacher what the Admiral Spirit award is and this is what how she responded. It is awarded to those who work hard and improve academics/behavior. It's also for being a team player always and being good to your peers. :) When the principal gave him his award she made it sound even better. Lets just say Miles was awarded for being AWESOME. I could have told them that but it was so nice for him to be publically recognized. I am so proud of my hardworking dedicated 3rd grader.
