Cookie Makers

About a year ago when I was no longer working I decided I wanted to have homemade cookies in my cookie jar all the time. You can come to my house any time and enjoy a cookie. I am becoming know for it and I love it. All the kids friend come over and go straight to the cookie jar, the teens come over and eat the whole jar. I hope that my kids will remember my cookies forever. We have to favorites and add a couple new ones in every now and again. I want to make them for their kids. I know its cheesy but it is part of my legacy for them.

So I have a baby girl who loves to be with me, either shopping or baking. I can not turn the mixer on without her running to help me. True confession time, I do not always have time for help but always allow it, at times not as involved as she would like. I know as Anna gets older and her days at school are longer our opportunities to bake together will become harder to find so I treasure hew when I can. Here we are making cookies for Valentines day. I wish I could have taken a picture of us baking together, another time.

Anna loves the smell of vanilla she smells it every time.

So here's how it goes. She pours everything in the mixer except egg and flour she does not like the mess they make and she operates the mixer. She lifts the head up and turns it off and on. She also helps me scoop them out with the pampered chef baller.

She loves it and so do I . Its PRICELESS!
