Singing

I don’t really know how it started but we have gotten into the great habit of singing hymns at night before bed. I ‘m pretty sure it came from Anna who is a great little singer. She loves singing with her daddy and I love listening to them. Most nights we pile on her bed and all sing together, some are more gifted in that department than others and some love it more than others, but we do it together anyway. Her favorite song is “Peace like a River” or actually named “It is Well with my Soul”, which is my favorite song too, and can hardly make it through it without crying.

So she always picks “Peace like a River”

Tom picks “How great Thou Art”

Miles picks “Firm foundation”

And Mason does not usually pick, he is not a fan of singing and me, well I just listen with tears in my eyes and savor the moment in my life.
